The Spotted Turtle Herpetological Institute in close network with other Rescues is happy to accept unwanted Invertebrate, Amphibian or Reptilian pets. There is no charge for this service.

Animals that are not used for our own Skin & Scales Presentations will be relocated to other Rescues or other suitable homes will be provided for them.

We often have animals available for adoption that may or may not be listed on this website, please inquire via the e-mail system on our The Spotted Turtle "contacts" page.

There is no adoption fee for animals which are re-homed, our goal is to simply find suitable homes for these animals.

When it is possible we try to encourage owners of native collected species to re-introduce their wild caught pets back into the area from which they were taken.
